|JRS releases $3.5 million grant to Leipsic|

In a press release from Senator Beuhers office it was announced that the state Controlling Board Monday approved the release of $3.5 million in Ohio Job Ready Sites (JRS) program funds to help make upgrades to several acres of land in Putnam County.
The JRS program, which is administered by the Ohio Department of Development, was established as a part of Issue 1, the $2 billion “Jobs for Ohio” bond issue passed by voters in 2005. It is designed to attract economic growth to the state by investing in the development of marketable, certified business and mega-manufacturing sites across Ohio.
