Ty Shingledecker named VP lending at Citizens National Bank

Citizens National Bank is happy to announce the addition of a commercial and residential lender to our Van Wert and Defiance offices. With previous commercial lending experience and a credit analyst background, Ty Shingledecker will serve as a commercial lender in the CNB Van Wert office. Additionally, he will be providing commercial and mortgage lending services in the CNB Defiance loan production office. Shingledecker will be responsible for establishing new commercial relationships for CNB, as well as analyzing current customer portfolios on a regular basis and providing mortgage and home equity lending to the Defiance market. According to J. Michael Romey, CNB President/CEO, “Ty’s experience in the Delphos market will allow us to bridge the gap between Defiance and Van Wert. We welcome his expertise and support his commitment to providing services for both offices.”

A graduate of The Ohio State University, Shingledecker holds a degree in Agribusiness and Applied Economics. He’s been in the banking industry since 2005, most recently focusing on commercial lending. Committed to the community, he has been involved in the United Way, Junior Achievement, Hancock Leadership, the Heart Walk and coaching youth sports. He and his wife, Meghan, are members of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Defiance.
With offices in Bluffton, Celina, Elida, Findlay, Lima, Springfield, Van Wert and Defiance, Citizens National Bank has assets totaling more than $565 million and has been serving the communities of West Central Ohio since 1920.
