Garmann/Miller Architects-Engineers in Minster is pleased to announce that Kasey Corbet has received her Architectural Registration for the State of Ohio and is now a licensed architect.
Her steps to becoming a registered architect included receiving a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Kentucky and completing her Intern Development Program (IDP) under the supervision of licensed architects. Through IDP, she logged more than 5,600 hours in training involving all aspects of architectural practice. The final step of the registration process was successfully passing the seven divisions of the Architectural Registration Exam.
Kasey is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and was the first at Garmann/Miller to earn the designation of LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) through the US Green Building Council in September 2007. She has also been approved for certification through the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), allowing her to obtain reciprocal registrations in other states.
Garmann/Miller is proud of Kasey’s accomplishment and is pleased to now have ten registered architects on staff. Garmann/Miller’s staff of 37 employees includes registered architects, landscape architects, designers, professional engineers, construction administrators and administrative personnel serving public and private clients throughout Ohio.
