LIMA, Ohio -- Rhodes State College is partnering with Defiance College to offer an RN to BSN Completion Program. Graduates of the Rhodes State College associate degree nursing program will be granted admission at Defiance at junior status. During that transition year, students will take additional general education and humanities. To begin the fourth year of studies, students must successfully pass the NCLEX-RN licensing exam and complete 10 hours of required prerequisite general education coursework. All nursing classes will be offered online or in hybrid/blended formats at Rhodes State. Students will be able to complete the BSN in an additional four semesters of full-time study. In addition, coursework can be completed in summer sessions. A "Nurse Executive" thread has been incorporated throughout the curriculum to prepare graduates with executive leadership skills necessary to excel in any dynamic health care environment.
