PERRY proTECH is pleased to announce the addition of David DeToro to our IT/Networking team as General Manager.  Dave assumes the duties of Jeff Boate who has been promoted to President of PERRY proTECH corporate office and Barry Clark has been named as CEO.

David DeToro is a native of Chicago, Illinois.  He is married to his wife Amy of 9 years; a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.  They have 3 children; Katie - 7, Gianna - 5, and Nicholas - 3 months.  Dave grew up in the south suburbs of Chicago in Orland Park before attending Valparaiso University in Indiana.  He studied Business Administration, focusing on Marketing, while also receiving a minor in English Writing.

 
Thobe joins Garmann/Miller PDF Print E-mail

Garmann/Miller & Associates in Minster welcomes Jamee Thobe to the firm. She has been hired full-time as a graphic designer. She will be working on marketing and promotional materials and maintaining the company’s Web site.

Thobe graduated from Sinclair Community College in 2006 with a Applied Science degree in Graphic Design. She has been in the graphics field for six years.

The 2003 Marion Local graduate lives in Cassella with her husband Ryan and their 1-year old daughter Marley.

Touchstone promotes Hurst to safety professional PDF Print E-mail

Lima, OH – Brian Hurst of Touchstone CPM has recently been promoted to Safety Coordinator.  Since 2004, Brian has worked as a Project Superintendent for Touchstone CPM on numerous high profile projects with owners such as St. Rita’s Medical Center, Orthopaedic Institute of Ohio, Allen County Museum and several area school districts including Fremont, Defiance, Hicksville and Parkway Schools. Brian’s educational background includes an Associate’s degree in Applied Sciences in both Civil and Electrical Engineering Technologies. Now a 20-year construction veteran, Brian will be responsible for the oversight of Touchstone CPM’s safety operations including implementation of site specific safety programs, subcontractor safety orientation, and development of new safety initiatives.

Delphos native Dan Miller recently joined Garmann/Miller & Associates in Minster as a Technology Designer.

Miller received an Associate degree in Business Management from Lima Technical College and graduated from Delphos Jefferson High School.
He has  A+ and CTP (Convergence Technologies Professional) certifications and is working toward obtaining a BICSI (Building Industry Consulting Services International) RCDD® (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) certification. He is a member of the Lima Regional Information Technology Alliance and BICSI.

Andrew Huelsman of Garmann/Miller & Associates in Minster,  has met the educational,  testing and experience requirements need to qualify as a Certified Energy Manger (CEM). The CEM is a certification established by the Association of Energy Engineers. It provides a recognizable affirmation of demonstrated competencies in a wide range of energy related principles and practices. CEM’s are now found in various aspects of the energy industry including consulting, corporations, utilities, controls, universities, school districts, and federal, state and local governments.
Andrew lives in St. Henry and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton. He joined Garmann/Miller in February 2010.

 
Miller is awarded RCDD designation PDF Print E-mail

Josh Miller, Technology Designer at Garmann/Miller Architects-Engineers in Minster has recently earned his Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) designation. Those awarded with the RCDD designation have demonstrated their knowledge in the design, implementation and integration of information transport systems and related infrastructure. 
Candidates are required to show industry experience and pass rigorous exams based on the content of Building Industry Consulting Services International (BICSI) manuals. Those who pass must adhere to strict standards of conduct and keep their knowledge current through continuing education. 
The RCDD status conveys instant advantages over the competition with a professional designation of excellence, a highly regarded status recognized and mandated by many private and state organizations, a noted mark of design knowledge valued internationally, as well as an indication of experience and knowledge known throughout the ITS industry.
Miller holds a Bachelor degree in Management Information Systems from Wright State University. Josh joined Garmann/Miller in February 2011.

Susan Pancake joins First National Bank PDF Print E-mail

Pandora, OH (June 29, 2012) – Susan Pancake recently joined the staff of First National Bank as an Operations Administrator. 
Susan joins First National with over twenty-five years of banking experience. She is a graduate of Hillsdale College, Hillsdale Michigan. Susan is active in many civic and community activities and is a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church.  Susan, her husband, Kevin, and son, Zac, reside in Findlay.
As the Operations Administrator, Susan is responsible for managing the mortgage and deposit operations staff in the Pandora office.
