Dr. Dabis Joins Mercer Health Staff
Mercer Health officials announced today that Dr. Nazih Dabis, Board Certified Pediatrician and Neonatologist, has decided to stay in the Mercer County area and to continue his practice at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
Dr. Dabis has been practicing in the Celina area since October, of 1980. He says, “I had planned to move out of the area, but the public support that I have received convinced me that I really want to stay here.”
With Dr. Dabis agreeing to stay, it fills a need for pediatric care in the area. Chief Executive Officer Jim Wermert states, “We are pleased that Dr. Dabis is willing to continue his practice in the area. He has moved his office to the Community Medical Center in Celina. This will provide easier access to Laboratory and X-ray services for his patients.”

David Promoted to Clinical Manager of the Cardiac Cath Lab at LMH
LIMA, Ohio – Julie Jo David, RN, has assumed the role of clinical manager of the Cardiac Cath Lab at Lima Memorial Health System (LMHS). She also currently serves as the manager of the Cardiac Intervention Unit.

PEDIATRICIAN DR. KAREN SMITH WILL BE JOINING the Wilson Care, Inc., team at the end of July. Dr. Smith comes to Wilson from a successful pediatric practice in Lima, although she has been a resident of Sidney for four years. Through her enduring faith and persistent focus, she is now exactly where she wants to be. “My faith opened the door to live in a small town and now to practice in Sidney,” she said. Her journey to our area has been a winding one, yet has given her much experience in her chosen career.
